Italian History Reimagined

April 2 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join filmmakers Mary Lou and Jerome Bongiorno for a screening and discussion of “Hearing Voices,” a movie

they created where Italian Inventor Antonio Meucci and Patriot General Giuseppe Garibaldi reunite as ghosts at the home they shared in 1850s, in Staten Island, NY. The two hash out their legacies of the invention of the telephone and Italian unification and debate the bigger question of: why do we fight?
